This year, I decided to take on a challenge I’ve been dying to do for ages and shoot a wedding. I was lucky in my search by finding three wonderful couples. Each one allowed me to come in and do both their engagement and wedding ceremony. I’m so excited because I feel like it really let me see the power of being a photographer in these key special moments. You really have to be on your A game to get every shot, because every shot matters and counts!
What does it mean for the future? Well, it definitely left me wanting to do more! I will admit that my first love is always going to be photographing families, but I am definitely open to taking on new wedding clients moving forward! I want to photograph classic, beautiful, simple weddings that are free spirited and just want their pictures to be in the moment. It’s something about documenting a wedding that’s just really special to me. I want to keep doing it again and again!
This beautiful couple had their ceremony in downtown Philadelphia at the University of Penn Museum in front of a Sphinx! I had the pleasure of working with this couple for their engagement shoot last year. It was such a fun shoot with an amazing backdrop of Philadelphia buildings and iconic skyline. How cool is that?! I loved working with them. They were so casual, calm, and collected. Capturing them was easy and breezy and I couldn’t be happier with how the pictures turned out.
If you’re interested in booking me for your 2016 or 2017 wedding, feel free to get in touch with me anytime! My availability is slim for weddings in Philadelphia but I’m always open to doing it if I’m free! If you’re looking for a casual, documentary wedding pictures, then touch base with me!
