the nitty gritty?What's

I'm a lifestyle photographer. That means I capture my subjects 'as close to real-life' as possible. With subtle cues, prompts, and minimal posing, my goal is to get you comfortable in front of the camera so that your personality comes out and produces genuine laughter and smiles.

I'm a firm believer in moments over poses and feel a better connection in photographs when you can feel and see it. My favorite subject and specialty is capturing all of life's important milestones. So if you're looking to capture the imperfect perfection that is you and your loved ones, you're in the right spot.

The first step is just by reaching out by either email, phone, or even text! You want to make sure you work with someone you click with, and I want to make sure I can give you precisely what you're looking for in a professional photographer. That's why the first step is always reaching out to connect and see if we fit.

Once you book me (because you want to!), we begin planning the shoot by discussing location, wardrobe, and our ultimate goal towards the end. After the session, we then schedule a virtual Viewing and Ordering meeting where you'll be able to see your entire gallery and order your photos and prints from the comfort of your home.

"She's really unobtrusive and not going to direct you in a bunch of ways like some photographers I've seen before. She did know when to pose things, but those shots were few and far between. To me that was a big plus. It allowed me to enjoy the wedding day rather than being constantly posing for pictures, and it really worked out with the pictures that she delivered in the end." — K & C

Wedding collections include an online gallery of your photos both for sharing and downloading. Portrait collections include beautiful high-end framed prints and heirloom quality albums. Working with me means from start to finish, you come out of this experience with something you can pass down for generations with the retelling of your personal story in the form of art

I don't want to up-sell you a fake personality just to get hired. I have moments where I am socially awkward and then times where I am the loudest of the bunch. I'm quirky and eccentric, but I am honest and genuine. You're hiring me because you want your images mirroring just that — unique, honest, and genuine.

So let me tell your story next.

My approach is what many call lifestyle photography, capturing moments as true to life as possible with cues and prompts to create natural responses and candid moments.

I try and keep things relaxed and even-paced, so it's lots of fun and not too much posing. I feel this approach towards portraits brings the true character out of families, couples, and people in general and will make the session more enjoyable for both older and younger children. I do capture a few of the favorite traditional portraits for variety, but most of my work is mostly lifestyle.

My editing style can be described as bold, authentic, colorful, and joyful. I love beautiful colors but with a touch of muted softness that mirrors the look of classic film.

At this time, I do not have a studio. All sessions are done on-location or in the home. If interested or necessary, I am able to acquire a studio to rent for an additional fee.

I am a weekend warrior when it comes to working. Therefore, all portraits and wedding sessions are usually scheduled for the weekend. For weekday sessions, sessions should be scheduled four weeks in advance.

Time-wise, sessions are either early morning or two hours before sunset in the evening. This is because the lighting at these times is softer and easier to position at your back for beautiful backlit images. So the session needs to either happen bright and early in the morning or later in the evening just before sunset for gold, soft, and romantic lighting.

It can be a tough decision! I’m available to help guide you through the process. If you need an extra set of eyes to help narrow down your favorites or create a unique wall art display using your own walls, I’m always happy to offer my services through a virtual online ordering and viewing session.

During the viewing and ordering session, I will go over your prints and show you a few examples of what they look like on your walls. This way, you can make a confident decision on what prints or wall art you want knowing how they will look on your wall or in an album. All products are high-end made by labs catering only to professionals and offer museum archival quality products that last for decades. You're not getting standard images from just any lab, you're getting professionally manufactured handmade portrait heirlooms.

You can pay for any portion of your session or products using credit cards, check, Paypal, or PayPal Credit. If payment plans are more your style, I offer those, too. I’m happy to offer more information on either of these options.

I started out as a traditional artist in my youth, drawing figures and portraits using pencils and charcoals. From there I graduated into doing digital art during my vocational training and eventually jumped into animation and media art when I attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia. It was during a crucial point during my time there that I made the switch to Photography and began learning the art of processing film. From there, my interest took off as I ventured into creating art pieces with street photography. But it wasn't until 2014 when I decided to pursue this as a professional means of work and turn my love for art into something lucrative.

I have a wide arsenal of equipment I use for my sessions. My cameras are both Nikon DSLR's maintained and cared for daily. I also have a variety of prime lenses (85mm, 35mm, etc) and a wide selection of speedlights used during low lighting. I have a complete understanding of how to use my camera and backed by various organizations I am part of such as PPA (Professional Photographers of America), Click Pro (Curated Women Photographers), and more.

Yes, I offer digital photos in all of my collections for online sharing and print. I do not offer a digital-only collection.

I do not offer video coverage, however, I do have a vendor list of some amazing wedding videographers who I've worked with previously that I feel can give you a quality service equal to what I can provide.

I am a solo photographer. That means when you hire me, I am the main and only photographer present at your wedding or portrait session. I cover everything from the preparation details to the cake cutting. I'm confident in my abilities to capture the event at all angles. Depending on the size of the wedding, I occasionally bring an assistant with me who helps me keep organized, carry equipment, and give me basic support so that I'm not too scrambled. However, if a wedding is small enough, I tend to be okay on my own.

However, I do offer a second photographer option for my wedding clients that desire additional coverage. The benefit of a second photographer during a wedding is simply getting even more photos. However, rest assured that I can provide a high number of images capturing the entirety of your day.

My 2020 calendar is completely booked! Please reach out to book a session for next year!

For portraits, I always encourage my clients to book me four weeks in advance. For weddings, I only take a certain number of weddings per year so that I can provide a full service to my clients and behave less like a factory, that's why I encourage prospective wedding clients to book at least 12 months in advance. If you are planning on a shorter timeframe, please email me to check for availability!

I am currently booking 2021-2022 weddings and limited dates for 2021 portraits. Please inquire for availability!

All collections receive a high-resolution digital copies of the best images from your session along with applied credit up to the value of your session to use towards prints, albums, and wall art. This gives you the free range to create your own package by ordering the items that you want. You may also order additional products beyond the offered credit if desired. There is no order minimum order commitment required.

Yes! Every image is hand edited by me receiving various retouching and adjustments into my branded style. I do not mass bulk edit images or send them out with minimal editing.

Every photo receives the same amount of attention to detail as the next hence why I always give a rough turnaround of 2-3 weeks for portraits and 6-8 weeks for wedding day portraits.

If you are getting married or doing portraits in the general Philadelphia area, chances are that I have come across your venue in the past 7 years. However, I absolutely love shooting at new venues and seeing a location with fresh eyes.

Thanks to a few traveling adventures, I feel confident that I would do an excellent job capturing it. I would also be happy to visit your location with you prior to the wedding day, or if your wedding is out of town, I will arrive early the day before or day of to scout it to make sure I know where the best spots to shoot are!

Finding the right photographer can be a confusing, somewhat daunting task. When you’re having custom art created, you don’t want to choose just anyone to create it, especially when it's an important milestone. But the variation of prices, products, and experience can be tricky to navigate and discouraging when trying to decide on your photographer.

I wholeheartedly believe that, in order to create gorgeous images that you’ll connect with forever, we need to tell a story. And to tell that story, I have to make sure you have a stress-free, easy-to-navigate experience. So our work together begins the day you book—not just the day of your session! I commit myself to deliver a creative, custom experience from start to finish, taking the pressure off of you to plan and come up with a vision for your session. I tailor each session to the needs and style of that client, delivering a boutique luxury experience every time. I use professional, well cared for equipment to ensure the quality of your final product is excellent, too. That along with my years of training in Adobe software and editing allows me to provide you everything from retouching to extensive editing by request.

Whether you're looking for social media digitals or gorgeous artwork for your walls, you can always expect a high-end product to be delivered by me.
