I think the number one thing I love about my job is the fact that I get to meet new people. I know, I know. That sounds entirely cliché considering most jobs allow you to do just that. But it’s not just meeting new people but actually getting to know them. Sometimes I’ll get clients who I can just click with instantly. We enjoy the same things, share the same nerdy hobbies, and being able to connect just makes sessions so much easier because they’re relaxed and comfortable around me. The awkwardness melts away and that’s when I start to really shoot. When that happens … magic also happens. Children get comfortable and act as themselves, parents begin to laugh and simply BE in the moment with their kids, couples wander off and just radiate love in every capture … it’s beautiful. I love sessions where we’re just hanging out and I just happen to have a camera. Because it’s not just about taking portraits, it’s about me documenting you and yours so that you can go back to it and remember how happy, excited, or LOVED you were in that one capture.
This dad-of-soon-two contacted me to give his wife the Maternity Photography session she deserved by heading out to a local park near King of Prussia, PA. And man, was this mama radiant! Every shot was instant classic one after another. I had so many favorites it was REALLY hard to pick which ones to keep and edit! Their son is the most adorable thing I have ever seen. Smiles, laughs, and just the cutest photogenic little thing ever. I couldn’t get enough of them! The best part? They hired me to do my very first birth session! Yes!! How exciting is that? Birth photography has always been something I’ve dreamed of doing but knew it wasn’t going to happen until the stars aligned and my availability was super. Well … I guess the stars aligned!
This family was absolutely gorgeous! I’m so glad to have met them and cannot wait to meet their new addition very, very soon. Just check out this momma! Isn’t she beautiful or what? Take a look! If you like what you see, then maybe you should consider hiring me, your local Philadelphia Maternity Photographer and soon Philadelphia Birth Photographer.
